Gary Sachs, MD, is an Associate Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. He is also a Clinical Vice President at Bracket, working as the Therapeutic Area Leader in bipolar disease and mood disorders. Dr. Sachs is the founding director of the Bipolar Clinic and Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital. As Principal Investigator of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) Systematic Treatment Enhancement Program for Bipolar Disorder (STEP-BD), Dr. Sachs led the largest treatment study ever conducted for bipolar disorder. Dr. Sachs serves on the board of directors for the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) and co-chairs the DBSA scientific advisory board.
